Tristan is based between Cape Town and Berlin.

His first foray into the film industry came over a decade ago as a lighting gaffer and key grip. This developed a fundamental understanding of the key components that go into the workings of a set.

His focus and attention to the details of lighting a set are valuable assets to any Directors and Production teams working with him.

Tristan is booked globally working for international brands, shooting TV commercials, music videos and branded content across the Fashion Retail, Travel, Food and Sports sectors.

As a former Kite Surfer, he is no stranger to adrenaline and adapting to fast-changing elements which add to his experience and ability to stay calm under pressure
