What started out as a hobby capturing adventures in Thailand during a gap year quickly developed into Dirk’s full-blown passion for film making.

A series of beautifully crafted and hard-hitting content pieces followed and this rapidly contributed to building up a solid client base and a strong portfolio of work.

Dirk continues to go from strength to strength as a Director and depending on the project will also DOP and Edit campaigns he works on, which attributes to his all-round skills as a content creator

His long list of industry awards are testimony to his talent and the dedication he has to his craft. These include a Silver Lion at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in 2017, A Gold Loeries Award, Craft Gold for Cinematography and Directing and

being ranked by the Loeries Judging Panel as the top Cinematographer in South Africa in 2017.
